The study aims to test the efficacy of some Philippine botanical extracts against the mosquito vectors of malaria, filariasis, dengue and Japanese encephalitis under laboratory and field conditions. Specifically, it aims to (1) test the effects of some indigenous plant extracts against the aquatic and adult stages of mosquitoes under laboratory and field conditions, and (2) produce a stale formulation against one of these different mosquito stages.
