A survey through personal interview of 300 mother-respondents with 0-6 year old children was done.The study samples were allocated to urban (Iloilo City), rural agricultural (Leganes) and rural coastal (Tigbauan) barangays. Data were gathered by trained data gatheres using a structured interview schedule, translated in the dialect of the respondents.The data collected was computer processed and analyzed using SPSS programs. In the descriptive level, all the major variables were described using percentage distribution. To find out independence of certain variables, the Chi-Square Test was used. For relational analysis of pairs of ordinal variables, the Gamma Coefficient was used. (Author)
